Church Planting - Residency Program

The Hamilton Fellowships Residency program is designed for individuals who wish to explore a calling to future church planting efforts, whether as a lead planter or team member. This program offers focused attention, intentional exploration, and hands-on equipping to help develop the character and competencies necessary for church planters and key team members.

Program Structure

The Residency unfolds in three distinct stages, each building upon the last:

Intern

Focus: Self-Leadership & Self-Discovery

Interns will explore their personal strengths, calling, and spiritual formation, with specific attention to how they might fit within a church planting team.

Apprentice

Focus: Leading Others & Team Multiplication

Apprentices take on practical leadership responsibilities and begin to develop the skills necessary to lead others and multiply teams.

Resident

Focus: Organizational Leadership & Vision-Casting

Residents will grow in their ability to lead a church-planting initiative, with emphasis on vision development, values alignment, and team gathering.

Mentorship & Support

Throughout all stages, participants will work closely with our lead pastor/catalyst and team developers, and may also collaborate with city team leaders and pastors for broader ministry experience.
