LoveLoud

LoveLoud is how we express our desire to love our city in tangible ways.  This takes on various forms throughout the year including service days & activities, Beer Store Church, and our partnerships with Indwell and Christian Against Poverty. The ways in which we serve are through our Life Groups. As things are constantly changing and growing as we look for various needs and identify how we can meet them. We want to enable everyone who calls the The Hamilton Fellowships home to find a place to serve.

Service Days & Activities

Numerous times throughout the year we will organize opportunities to serve our city through park clean-ups, Thanksgiving for newcomers, feeding the homeless and partnering with other organizations to help with the great work they do. COVID-19 has impacted the methods by which we serve, but we continue to organize opportunities to serve and to give. These opportunities can be found posted on our “Upcoming Events” page or on our private church Facebook page for members.

bEER sTORE CHURCH MONDAYS 9:30AM DUNDURN BEER STORE

Beer Store Church is the name of our weekly outreach and prayer gathering with our "recycling" friends and neighbours in the city.  We gather each Monday for hot chocolate, sandwiches and prayer.

Partnership with indwell

Indwell is a charity dedicated to providing affordable housing to struggling individuals in Hamilton and surrounding cities. Our church is committed to providing continued support to this organization, which takes the form of raising money through art auctions and fundraising, coordinating service days on which we perform tasks such as property maintenance, and meeting needs as they arise through gifts such as filling backpacks for residents attending school and sewing masks and gowns for staff and residents in the face of COVID-19.

Partnership with Christians Against Poverty

Since 2013, CAP Canada has been working hard to provide hope and support for those struggling with debt. In 2016 they launched CAP Job Clubs – a group service designed to help people back into employment – with fantastic results.

Christians Against Poverty are passionate about releasing people from a life sentence of poverty, debt, unemployment, and struggle. Working with local churches, like The Hamilton Fellowships, they bring hope, good news, and freedom to Canadians.
